For the Kids 5K is a fundraising event that supports local camps for foster children and youth. All of our camps are served by screened and trained volunteers that have been prepped for working with the unique needs of emotionally-challenged kids who are in foster care. Most of first time campers have never been to a camp, or if they have, have never been able to stay the entire time because of behavioral issues. At both RFKC and TRAC, we strive to create an environment where our campers can feel safe, have fun, and just be kids.
Royal Family Kids Camp of Yamhill County is a one-week overnight summer camp experience for foster children ages 7-11.
Teen Reach Adventure Camps of Yamhill County are 3-day overnight, separate gender camps for foster youth ages 12-15.
All proceeds and donations will be split between the two programs. 100% of your donation goes toward camp operation costs. RFKC and TRAC are 100% volunteer organizations.
